For easy clean-up, place a cooking liner in your slow cooker.

Put tomato puree in slow cooker and turn heat to Low.

Cook sausages and chopped chuck until browned and cooked thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove meat from the skillet with a slotted spoon and add to tomato puree.

In the skillet used to cook the meat, cook the onion until lightly browned. Add the garlic in the last minute of cooking. Remove onion with slotted spoon and add to meats.

Stir water and tomato paste together in the skillet used with onions. Cook over low heat until slightly thickened (about 15 minutes). Add in Parmesan and spices and stir to combine. Add to meat mixture. Cook on Low for at least 3 hours.

Serve over your favorite pasta cooked according to package directions.
